Peter Hurley began his career in front of the camera – while training for the Olympics in sailing he was spotted and modeled in campaigns for A&F and Polo. Peter later moved behind the camera, and quickly built up a powerful client list. Thanks to his eye, his technique, and an engaging personality that makes people instantly comfortable, he is able to bring the best out of everyone he photographs.
Since opening his studios in New York and Los Angeles, he has focused on and specializes in portraiture. He has worked with dozens of companies including Levi’s, Reebok, DKNY, Johnnie Walker, and shot hundreds of talented actors, models and authors. Peter is most proud of the work he did for the NY exhibition of "The Vilcek Foundation Celebrates LOST," where he travelled to Hawaii to shoot the cast and crew as they wrapped up their final season.
